Mom: "No. If Jane can open hers with one hand you can open yours with two."
Silence.
Next time I look over Jane is handing Emily an unwrapped sucker.
Mom: "Why does Jane have your sucker?"
Emily: "I asked her to unwrap it for me."
Maybe next time I'll be more specific when I'm trying to tell Emily to do something for herself.
